Can I cancel a port request?

I started a port request yesterday, and wondering now can I cancel it, and just keep the number that came with my phone?

@Pisces03   you’ll have to call customer service on 150 to see if it can be stopped You’ll also need to contact your old network if your make sure your contract with them is terminated.    Call EE first though.

I have tried to call a few times, andcan't get through. Was just hoping maybe there was a quicker way?
