EE texted me about 3 weeks ago to inform me I had not used the phone for calls or texts and therefore my account would be closed. This was wrong as I had texted the previosu day. The problem appeared to be that I now needed a 4G simcard and they promsed to send one to arrive within 3 to 4 days. One week on it has not arrived.
Is this a normal delay?
Secondly can I go to an EE store and ask them to provide a new 4G simcard and transfer the blaance etc?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

The card should have arrived within four working days, @carrotmuseum2.
Yes, if you pop into the EE Store, they'll be able to provide you a replacement SIM card and get it all set up for you. You'll need some photo ID with you.
