Hi

recently upgraded to the All Rounder sim only with Roaming , currently I'm abroad in Algeria couldn't use my inclusive allowance instead I was asked to pay the daily or weekly pass, I have specifically asked the agent over the phone that I'm travelling in the next 10 days and I need to use my phone abroad  and he confirmed that I can have Netflix and roaming to Algeria zone1 . Thanks

Hi @Bouakaz

If you are on a all rounder plan this will include roaming in EU countries.

I know you mentioned you recently upgraded to this plan, have you got access to your MyEE app to check what plan you were upgraded to.

Thanks

Ritu

Hi Ritu

thanks for your quick reply, yes I can see roaming EU and roaming pass  and under inclusive benefit I see Netflix

my question isn't about EU roaming but about zone 1. thanks

Thank you for replying so quickly @Bouakaz

Sorry I misread your message above, as Algeria is not inclusive of the EU Roaming included in the all rounder plans.

There would be charges applicable, the daily rate is £5 per day.

You can find full information here Roaming Refresh

Thanks

Ritu

Zone 1 currently isn't included on ANY of EE's new plans (launched after 29th August 2024).

All Rounder plans come with inclusive EU Roaming and you would have to pay for access to your allowances outside of the EU at the relevant Zone's daily or weekly rate.

If you were told otherwise, then I'm afraid you were given incorrect information.

EDIT: Just seen your subsequent reply when refreshing: Full Works includes the EU, USA, Canada, Australia, Mexico and New Zealand. As originally stated, none of EE's new plans currently come with Zone 1 Roaming included.

Hi Matt

thanks for your reply, sorry my tariff is Full works not all rounder , looking at the EE website for zone 1 it shows daily and weekly rate and says inclusive Extra Yes

the below is copied from EE site

  • Zone 1 (includes United States, China, Australia and more)

    Daily Charge - £5 | 7 Day Charge - £25 | Calls, texts and data - UK allowances | Inclusive Extra - YES

    Albania | Algeria | Australia | Bangladesh | Bosnia and Herzegovina | Canada | China | Dominican Republic | Faroe Islands | Fiji | Indonesia | Israel | Kuwait | Malaysia | Mexico | Moldova | Montenegro | New Zealand | Oman | Peru | Puerto Rico | Qatar | Serbia | Seychelles | Singapore | South Africa | South Korea | Taiwan | Thailand | Turkey | United Arab Emirates | United States | Vietnam

Yes please re-read the bottom of my response.

Roaming passes aren't an "Inclusive Extra" anymore on the newer plans. Instead it is added as a free add-on, so that you can use something like Netflix and Roaming alongside each other.

Roaming used to be an Inclusive Extra so the information that references this on the Roaming Refresh page is for customers whose contract start date preceeded the introduction of the Tariff changes on the 29th August 2024.

This issue and discussion has been raised and EE have allegedly been looking for a solution on how to bring the Zone 1 Countries to current Full Works customers but there are no updates on this yet.

As it stands currently:

All Rounder comes with the Roam In EU add-on, and Full Works comes with Roam in EU AND Roam Further Pass (which encompasses USA, Canada, Australia, Mexico, and New Zealand).

There is NO included Zone 1 Roaming available currently on any of EE's new plans.

Yes, Algeria is in Zone 1 but Full Works plans do not cover the whole of Zone 1 but only USA, Canada, Australia, Mexico and New Zealand.

thanks for you reply

couldn' find anything on EE site to say  Full Works don't  cover Algeria zone, very misleading

EE Roaming terms and conditions should stipulate this to avoid ambiguity and complaints

the terms does not specify  August 2024  nor selected countries on zone 1

in plain English it says Inclusive Extra YES and below are the countries
