I have an SE2020 Iphone 256gb, five years old. As an "oldie" (ME) not very up to date with tech etc. I am going to the USA in May this year, do I need to do anything to my phone for outgoing and incoming use age ?
Any help greatly appreciated!!

Hi @CBBT
Thanks for getting back to us.
I bet you can't wait to get away, USA sounds amazing.
There are a few things you will need to check.
You will need to ensure you have Roaming activated and increase and spend cap you may have on your account too.
You can find information how to do these things here Get ready to roam
Do you know if your Sim Only plan includes any roaming?
Thanks
Ritu

Hi @CBBT
If you log into your My EE account, it will show you your plan and what is included in there.

@CBBT : If you are on contract, you may use your usual UK allowances in the EE ROW Zone 1 with up to 50 GB data per billing month if you have more, when you buy the Zone 1 Pass for £5 / day or £25 / week or already have it as an Inclusive Extra or you have an EE Full Works or EE Max Plan. Otherwise you will need to pay the charges or buy roaming add-ons as set out in https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile/roaming/roaming-costs/countries/usa.
As you are on contract, just remember to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave UK to ensure the roaming ability is enabled on your account.
