Unlimited data abroad

Why am I being asked to buy data abroad when I am on an unlimited plan? I called EE last month to confirm my data plan would work abroad and was told there would be no extra charges.

If you're referring to the Roam Abroad pass, inclusive data abroad has a 50GB per month fair usage policy.

That’s not what I was told
Yours sincerely
Alex

Told by whom? And what did they (whoever they are) tell you?

@AlexM224   When you asked the question did you say abroad or did you say the country you was going too?   Abroad is anywhere outside the UK so not really helpful.     You can use your allowance within the EU and if you have the roam abroad pass you can also use it in the US,Canada,Mexico,Australia & New Zealand.    But abroad can be anywhere.    If you’re being asked to purchase a data add on then your allowance doesn’t cover you in that location.   But where’s that exactly?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

I told EE where and when I was going and was told my data bundle would work their.

There…ducking predictive text

FYI you do have a short time after posting to edit what you've posted, to avoid the need for multiple replies.

As others have mentioned, you've not confirmed which country you're in.
