Thinking of switching to another provider

I too am now thinking of switching after being with ee for about 20 years since orange. This weekend I have been horrified by the cost increase to roam abroad up from £25 for the month to £25 a week. Safe to say I opted for a SIM card from another provider £25.50 for the month with plenty of data and minutes for what I’ll need. I SHOULDN’T have to do this EE come on

Morning @Patto76

Thanks for coming to the community.

I am sorry you're looking at leaving us. Before moving to another network, I would suggest getting in touch to discuss your options for roaming. To do this, please give us a call on 150 and the team will look into this for you 🙂

Thank you.

Leanne.

Must admit, I read "another provider" in the context of roaming, to mean a local-SIM.

And would thus comment that there are pros & cons of both local SIMs and roaming, when it comes to foreign stays - I don't think there's a slam-dunk case either way, too much depends on your usage.

Thanks @bristolian

That makes sense, and apologies if this is what you meant and have taken another SIM for roaming @Patto76.

If you have not left us, I would still get in touch with our mobile guides, and they can certainly look into your options for any future trips abroad 🙂
