Have you been able to make or receive calls in Australia, before now?

Try manually swapping between Australian networks, rule out an issue with the operator you're currently connected to.

I’ve tried all the networks and have got the same result, currently on automatic selection, my wife is having the same issue too

@Aardvark5 , did either of you receive the welcome message from EE?

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

Hi yes we did, tried customer service on 150 but won’t connect and we have no other phone

Hi @Aardvark5,

What is happening when you do try and call, is it a recorded message or something like that? Is it effecting every call, both incoming or outgoing or can you for example call Australian numbers but not back to the UK etc.

I know you mentioned 150, but did you call on the full number to call from outside the UK +44 (0)7953 966 150 ?

Alex

Hi, just managed to get through on the outside Uk number( first time it’s rung) got through to technical and they said they can fix it but computers are down at the minute going to call back in about an hour to try and sort it out, so fingers crossed 😁🤞

If you received the welcome text message, then you have a network connection and are thus roaming.

An inability to make calls can be caused by either a spend cap, or more likely an international call bar being active.
