Roaming in New Zealand 2025

I am in New Zealand, travelling for 30 days.  Before leaving the UK I changed my plan to include full roaming as the old roaming pass is no longer available.  I arrive in New Zealand and immediately get an EE text inviting me to pay £5 per day or £25 per 7 days for a roaming pass.  Advice welcome on what is going on and what to do.  Cannot find anywhere on EE website on how to send a text to them.

Marvellous! So 'Full Roaming' doesn't mean full roaming!!  The advice I received from EE prior to coming to NZ was wrong, therefore, and changing the plan was pointless and a waste of money.  Great stuff!

The Full Roaming does allow you to use your phone in any country in the world where we have a roaming agreement, but is subject to standard roaming charges if you don't have an add-on or a plan with inclusive allowances. It does not contain any roaming allowances.

If you don't have any roaming product, the phone will not pick up signal from any roaming network, or you can get EU Roaming only, which will only work in EU countries, but again not include allowances.

If you believe you have been given incorrect information, you can speak to our customer service guides and raise a complaint with them, or you raise a complaint online.
