Do you know over what period of time you have the 50gb allowance? Is it 50gb for the duration of the trip or does the allowance reset after a period of time like a monthly data limit would. My son is off to New Zealand for at least a year and I'm wondering if this perk is of any long term use to him. Cheers

EE's roaming services are intended for use by UK residents taking short-term trips abroad, not those long-term resident.
This is reinforced by the stable links policy which broadly requires usage in the UK for 2 months in every 4. Your son would be better seeking provision by a NZ-operator.

If you're on contract the 50GB FUP limit applies per billing month.
