I have been a ee customer since 2015 and before, so pretty loyal, let’s go back 12 moths, broadband up for renewal, quite competitive so engaged in a 24 month contract. I also have a sim only mobile had that for ages too with ee and beyond. I see an advert for unlimited data on my mobile because I have broadband too, hurray! Contacted ee and said that was only on NEW EE customers? I was an old ee customer? But the kind gentleman said no problem he would change it over and I would get my unlimited data, good! No! now ee says my sim plan is being replaced by a more expensive one, applied for a pac so I was going to move to a more competitive supplier when retention calls to say they can compete and give me what I had before with exactly the same add ons including unlimited data and roaming, hurray! No! Go to France on holiday NO DATA! after about an hour got through to the lovely Sophia who put my spend cap on and off and assured me that would reset my account and I would have my free roaming, hurray! No! Get home after 14 days in France and faced with  a roaming fee for every day I was there?back on to ee eventually the lovely Dianne informs me I am not a NEW EE customer but an old one therefore do not qualify for that mobile plan! But can sort me one out for double the price! Because I am still an OLD EE customer for another 12 moths?? and there is a massive exit fee to terminate my contract because OLD EE is nothing to do with NEW EE!! what an absolute shambles, can’t seem to get to speak or communicate with anybody in authority who can sort this farse out? NEW EE let’s go back 10yrs this would have been sorted to a specific department and I would have been sorted and a happy ee customer like I have been for years!!  I hope someone with good authority can read this and sort it out? Please! I’m not a complainer but I’m quite ready for picking up my EE mobile and broadband and running to someone who does care, it’s a shame NEW EE is proving that it is nowhere near the OLD EE standard

@joffavan  You only get unlimited data when you upgrade your broadband not just because you’ve already got broadband with EE and are still within your contract term.  When you took out this broadband that wasn’t the offer at that time.   Deals change over time and you don’t get whats now being offered just because you think you should have it.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
So therefore the agents telling you that should make it clear and he/she did not I did ask because it was in the pipeline and the answer was yes you will get unlimited data when the sale of bt is completed and gone through it will automatically give me unlimited I would not have to do anything once they had converted from EE to new EE

@joffavan  What sale of BT ?    And if the offer wasn’t available at that time then you don’t get it just because it’s now available.   Offers are not back dated otherwise everyone will be trying to get whats now available.

They where in the process of taking over BT which they later completed but the promises never evolved even though they were advertising it at the time , it did say the new ee and that is why I specifically enquired before I signed new contract.
Agent should be aware of what they say when it is being recorded and I would like them to dig out the conversation and play it.
