I am abroad, i have full roam, but not Sri Lanka, so not that "full". bought a 24 hour pass, hasnt activated, Cant get help over chat because this is a "technical" issue and requires a human. Call 150, get sent a text that promises a speedy resolution. Directs me to the same I have already dealt with, still no human, no callback, nothing. Sent another text ( oh hang , no , that didnt arrive " i text "Abroad" to 150, doesnt go through , and if it did i would be charged because the add on i bought is nowhere to be seen.

You are truly awful EE. Your website is shocking, your app is shocking. You will do whatever you can to avoid putting someone on the end of a phone. Why ? i'll tell you why, Money.

i hate you with a passion that cannot be measured.

Post moved to a new thread rather than hijacking an unrelated one.

Basics first... You've mentioned buying a 24hour pass, which suggests to me that you've received a welcome text message since being in Sri Lanka. Is this correct? If so, you are already roaming by virtue of having a local network connection. This what "full roaming" refers to in the myEE app.

What do you mean by your billing add-on "hasnt activated"?

@DickyGray , full roam, means you can roam where you are in the world, but data, is a different thing, and depending where you are and also what plan you have, will depend on whether you have to buy an add on to use data etc.

You can also call customer service for free using Skype, see my signature and click on 2 to get to a human being, which is the quickest way to speak to someone.
