@Nedjemeddine : Are you on contract or PAYG? Had you used that SIM for making calls or texts in UK before you left to go abroad?

If you are on contract, did you activate roaming on your EE a/c before you left UK by texting ROAMING to 150? Having a roaming billing add-on doesn't of itself activate roaming on your a/c. Having roaming activated on your EE a/c, not just on your device, is crucial to using your contract SIM abroad.

Often just rebooting the phone is the simple remedy. Also try selecting a network manually rather than auto.

Otherwise if you are on contract you need to call CS to get your roaming activated. Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. on Skype over WiFi. It should be free.

Hello @Nedjemeddine

Are you a pay as you go or pay monthly customer?

If you are a pay monthly customer are you aware if you have a spend cap on your account?

Katie

Hi

I'm paying monthly and never been late for the payment.  Even ee stop my sim card I'm still paying.

This bad from a big  company like to do things like that to Customers and how come you don't know if my contract pay go or monthly.  I need my sim card working because I'm struggling without my phone.  I'm paying a lot of money to call my family in uk.

Kind regards

Hi @Nedjemeddine

We have no account access here on the EE Community so we are unable to view your account to see if you are a pay as you go or pay monthly customer.

I'd love to see if there is somethings I could recommend to get your SIM working.

Did you activate Roaming before leaving the UK?

If you could also please confirm if you have a Spend Cap on your EE account.

Speak soon,

Katie
