I have a problem whilst roaming in Egypt. Whilst I can make and receive calls I cannot access voicemails because when asked to enter my PIN the system does not recognised that I am pressing the buttons. I have also tried calling 150 but the first request is to 'press 1 for mobile' and when I press the button nothing happens. I have also tried the SIM in another phone to check it is not a hardware problem. Any suggestions of how to contact EE customer services other than by 150?

For clarity..
1: Does this affect all automated menus, or just EE's 150 & 222 ones?
2: Are the symptoms identical across all available local networks, or just one specific one?
3: Have you experienced this in any other countries?

Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. on Skype over WiFi. It should be free.

1. I've only tried accessing voicemail and customer services so don't know if it affects the use of all menu driven systems
2. I only seem to be picking up Orange Egypt. I'll try connecting to other networks if any are available.
3. I've never had problems before when roaming in any other countries with this phone & SIM.
Thanks for the questions, I hadn't considered forcing the use of another network.

Thanks for your help.
It seems like there's a problem with Orange Egypt. I connected to e& etisalat and the voicemail system accepted my PIN entry.
