Hi,
I'm travelling and have no signal whatsoever, tried every which way to restart, reboot etc - impossible.
The most frustrating thing however, is no one at EE is answering any messages on social media and due to my problem, I cannot call or text them.
Absolutely impossible and such poor customer service…
any advice?

Welcome to the community.
I'm sorry to hear that you're still having problems with your service. I recommend following @bristolian's advice to speak with our Mobile Care team from another phone or through a VoIP service, such as Skype.
Once you're in touch with them, hopefully they can get you up and running quickly.
