I’m stuck in a loop. I can’t make calls to the UK from abroad (Spain) - I get the message “calls to this number are not permitted from this phone”. If I try to text 150 for help I get message undeliverable. There is no option to email EE for help. I have checked that I can receive calls from the UK.
I texted Roaming to 150 before I left the UK.
any ideas?

Duplicate posts merged into one thread. EE have no email-CS.
Can you receive texts? Can you receive calls? (You say "I have checked" - does this mean the test worked? Or it didn't work)
Receiving texts and/or calls proves a local network connection and thus roaming is active. Can you call within Spain?
Inability to call the UK or send texts (this is routed through EE's UK-SMSC) would suggest an international call bar active. You will need to make contact with EE-CS via another means to get that removed. Either +44 7953 966150 from another working phone, or +44 800 9566000 from a web-calling app.
