Help - in USA - have bought data bundle through EE but cannot make calls or send

Welcome to the community,

I take it you are on contract with EE? If that is the case, did you enable roaming on your account?

If on pay as you go, that is automatically enabled.

Have you tried doing a manual search for a network?

Buying a bundle does not enable roaming on contract you need that enabled on your account.

Did you purchase that data bundle via a welcome text message when you first arrived abroad?

I ask because that's how roaming add-ons are normally selected now, and if you have received a text abroad, then you are already roaming. Thus, roaming not being enabled is not necessarily the issue.

Hi yes - I did I replied to the text - but now I cant send / receive texts.
I wasn't able to make calls either
