Full Roaming is purely the capability to connect to foreign networks and is not a billing add-on.
Roaming is only free-of-charge if one of the following applies:
Any plan with a contract start date of before 7th July 2021 will have Inclusive roaming in EU countries.
An Essentials Plus, All Rounder or Full Works plan taken on or after 29th August 2024 will have Inclusive EU Roaming through the included "Roam in EU" addon. Full Works plans will have this addon PLUS "Roam Further Pass" which provides ROW Zone 1 access. Some retention plans may also include the "Roam in EU" addon.
A Smart, All Rounder or Full Works plan taken before 29th August 2024 will have the option for Inclusive EU Roaming through the selection of the "Roaming Pass EU" Inclusive Extra OR "Roaming Pass ROW" for Zone 1 countries.
If none of the above applies, then either the daily rate would need to be paid or a pass could be bought to reduce the cost of this over a longer period.
