Hello. 
Toped up my balance, checked roaming but the roaming still doesn’t work. 4G doesn’t work. It shows that it’s present but nothings works. I’ve turned on and turned off my phone a few times. Still nothing.

What should I do? Thanks

Are on pay as you go or monthly contract?

Didd you activate your SIM card in the UK and make a chargeable call or text before going abroad? This you would have to do if it is pay as you go, otherwise you will not be able to use the SIM card until you come back to the UK.

It does look like you are on pay as you go, but if on contract, did you enable roaming on your account before going abroad? Pay as you go are automatically enabled.

You've made repeated references to "checking" roaming - how exactly do you think you're doing this?

Your phone may have a menu option for "data roaming" but this is not the same thing. This merely allows the use of mobile data whilst already roaming. Roaming itself is an account-level setting to enable your SIM access to foreign networks,
