You may use your usual UK allowances in the EU with up to 50 GB (contract) or 25 GB (PAYG) data per billing month if you have more. If on contract & your contract started after 07/07/2021 there'll be a £2.47 / day charge for using your UK allowances in EU unless you already have the Roam Abroad Pass for £25 / month or already have it as an Inclusive Extra.
To use your pack allowances in the EU on PAYG there are roaming charges of either £2.50 / day, by having texted ROAMEU1D to 150, or £10 / week, by having texted ROAMEU7D to 150, to be taken only from your PAYG credit, not your recurring card payment. You will receive a msg upon arrival telling you about these charges for roaming in EU & inviting to take up these options. If you opt to reply neither or you don't have an active pack, you will be paying standard rates for calls & texts & will need to buy a PAYG add-on for data.
If you are on contract, just remember to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave UK to ensure the roaming ability is enabled on your account.
If you are on PAYG, just make sure you had already used your PAYG SIM to make a call or text in the UK.

Well I had the roam abroad pass last August for one month so I have used it before. Can I just reactivate it somehow?

Hi there @Royalmobile
If you don't have a Roaming pass active already, you will receive a text when you land to let you know the current available Roaming passes for you.

It not a matter of just having used it before but of also hanging on to it until now & also having paid for it in the meantime. Have you?

@Leanne_T : There are no Roaming Passes to buy in EU, just the auto £2.47 / day charge.

Thanks for correcting me @XRaySpeX
I do apologise for any confusion @Royalmobile, if you would like to discuss your roaming options you can call us on 150 and the team will check your plan and see if there is anything they can do to help.
Leanne.
