Heloo

I have got charged extra charges when I spoke to them they said it is the roaming charges for answering the call from other country. I have opted out from international calling if that is the case I should not get any incoming calls as well. I asked them to give the full refund now they are saying we can’t give the full refund. The customer service and network is so bad they can’t even resolve the problem

they have charged me literally 94 pounds as extra charges they are telling me you have spoke from other country and they have never told me that they will charge for the incoming call as well

Hi @Akanksha1

Thanks for reaching out on the community.

We do not have account access on here so I am unable to view the extra charges in question.

When you are outside the UK you are subject to roaming charges, this is for incoming and outgoing calls. You can find full details on the extra costs here: Roaming Costs | Help | EE

I hope this helps.

Thanks

Ritu

Unfortunately @Akanksha1 we do not have account access so are unable to discuss this on the community.

If you have already spoken with customer service and they have advised you they cannot refund it but you are still unhappy with the decision you can make a complaint.

You can find information on how to make a complaint here Make a Complaint | Contact Us | EE

@Akanksha1 : International Calling & roaming are 2 separate things. International Calling is calling overseas nos. from the UK. Opting out of International Calling does not prevent you making & receiving calls while abroad. It only prevents you making calls from the UK to non UK nos. I don't see that you are entitled to any refund.
