Hi.
I'm having troubles making and receiving calls with my line from abroad. I asked my mum to get me a number while coming because I needed it for work purposes but unfortunately I can’t make calls nor text anyone. I requested they loaded it with £10 when she passed the phone to the lady attending to her. What’s the quickest fix please. I’m stuck at the moment

Is this Pay as you go?
When you are new to Pay as you go, you'll need to complete security activation by making your first call while in the UK connected to the EE network.
If your mum did not do that yet, it would explain why you're unable to make calls or SMS.
One way to resolve this would be to send the SIM card back to the UK for a trusted family member to make the first Pay as you go call, and send back to you?
You can contact EE from abroad on any other phone using the number at on our Contact Us From Abroad | EE page.

@IamKingLukas Was that sim used to make at least one call or send one text in the UK before it was given to you outside the UK ? If not it’ll not work abroad until that happens
