Daughter going to Sweden. Will I or indeed her pay extra for me to call her from the UK?

Assuming that your daughter is taking her UK-registered mobile with her and you're calling her on that.... then no, it is her that is roaming, not you.
You pay to call the number you have dialled, if that's a UK-mobile then you're charged to call a UK-mobile. If you have a bundle or allowance that covers calls to UK-mobiles, then nothing changes - where that mobile happens to be, is immaterial for you. The recipient of that call, if they're abroad, will have roaming charges for the incoming-international element.
EE's charging structure for EU-roaming is of flat-rate. So a single daily/weekly/12day charge covers all usage there.
