What fool decided to change the Roam Pass - currently in Oz for three weeks. It’s now costing £25 per week to use. I eventually got the first week and it told me it was about to expire so brought another week and no confirmation, just nothing. Nothing shows on my Add Ons either.
I then panicked and tried brought again (I think) and again, nothing to confirm. Tried Live Chat but with the time difference they aren’t yet open!
So the price has now quadrupled, no one is open to answer my query and I am now wondering if the phone is using my £50 allowance. Wi fi and data is working.
Btw - when I tried to order the Roam Pass in the usual way just before I left the UK it just said try again later and I eventually spoke to a lovely chap who said most of their customer base are up in arms about the changes and the chaos it has caused.
Can anyone help and calm me down pkeas?

@Bolt12 Using WiFi has nothing to do with EE or your tariff. If you can use cellular data then you have a working connection and your pass is working.

Hi @Bolt12
I know price changes are never welcome, but the 7-day Zone 1 Pass for £25 is going to be the best option for you in the USA. You can only buy roaming passes once you get to the country, and we'll send you a text when you land with further information.
We have a help page that covers all Roaming Charges, and we'd encourage everyone to check this prior to their travels. Also, check out the Get ready to roam section for handy hints and tips!
Just adding to @Chris_B's advice, if your mobile data is working, then that does indicate that your roaming pass is in place. Your mobile data would not work if you didn't have the Pass.
I hope you have a fabulous time away!
Linzi 😊

We have had exactly the same problem arriving in New Zealand with my partner for 4 weeks. This will cost £200. They don't tell you how to buy it (although we eventually did). No confirmation when we did buy it. Eventually got to a helpful person at ee but the system still very poor. Previously the monthly pass suited us very well and was one of the reasons we stayed with ee.

@sbfmm You can have a tariff that includes roaming. You just pay more for these tariffs. They are the unlimited full works tariffs.
