I can't contact 150 via SMS. I can call but it doesn't provide me with the information I need.

I wanted to understand my roaming charges for Belgium.

Cheers @SunshineS, are you using the dual SIM feature in this phone and have another network SIM active?

If you do I'd make sure that you have the EE number as the primary one for sending texts, as otherwise the 150 text service won't work.

I'd also recommending trying to manually reconnect with the EE network, as indicated in our help page here.

When you turn off automatic select one of the other networks that appears, then once your EE signal disappears you can re-select EE.

Make sure to re-enable automatic selection once your signal returns too.

If you continue to struggle from there, please give our technical team a call, and they'll be able to investigate things further from our end 😊

@SunshineS : You may use your usual UK allowances in the EU with up to 50 GB (contract) or 25 GB (PAYG) data per billing month if you have more. If on contract & your contract started after 07/07/2021 there'll be a £2.59 / day charge for using your UK allowances in EU unless you buy the 7-day EU Pass for £15 or you already have it as an Inclusive Extra or you have an EE All Rounder or Full Works Plan.

On PAYG there will be roaming charges to use your pack allowances in the EU, to be taken only from your PAYG credit, not your recurring card payment. You will receive a msg upon arrival offering & inviting you to take up the options for roaming in EU of either £2.50 / day, by replying ROAMEU1D to 150, or £10 / week, by replying ROAMEU7D to 150. If you opt to reply neither or you don't have an active pack, you will be paying standard rates for calls & texts & will need to buy a PAYG add-on for data.

If you are on contract, just remember to text ROAMING to 150 before leaving UK to ensure the roaming ability is enabled on your no.

If you are on PAYG, just make sure you had already used your PAYG SIM to make a call or text in the UK.

I'm on a pay monthly rolling contract.

The whole point of this thread is that I can't contact 150...

So how will I text them ROAMING.

What happens when you try? Does the message send? If not, you may have a more general issue with SMS.

Or is there an issue with the reply/lack of?

The online webtool allows account-login to get some user-specific costs... https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile/roaming/roaming-costs

I can sent SMS messages to any other number in my phone. I tested it with multiple numbers on different networks.

It's just 150 that says "can't send".
