i have an alcatelone-touch 10.16 g mobile phone and i dont have a smart phone so why has the smart phone shown up on the screen. this message was also sent to connected mobile phone that i bought this from via amazon uk on 21 Oct 2025 16:29 GMT.

this phone still has smart phone attached and i did not buy it with smart phone. also why do i have to pay for smart phone calls if i dont have a smart phone and why does it cost me to make freephone 0800 phone calls at 40p per minute and fee for text 20p per minute because this is used specifically for contacts and jobsearching replies.

Hi @paulettemcnally

You pay for a contract/PAYG which is network access regardless of the device you use.

0800 numbers are free but international 00800 calls are 40p I believe . Call charges are detailed in your terms and conditions: https://ee.co.uk/help/terms-and-conditions

Thanks
