Why would you sign up for a contract when PAYG Saver plan is cheaper?

Hi there

I was looking to join EE, and the best deal I can get online is £16 a month for 25gb on a 24 month contract that'll go up 16% in March to £18.50.

But on saver PAYG I can get 75gb for £13.50.

I can't find anything you DON'T get on the saver plan, so why would I sign up for a 24 month contract? What am I missing here?

Thanks in advance

Speed! PAYG SIMs are capped at 25 Meg. Contract SIMs are capped at at least 100 Meg & many are uncapped.

With PAYG you get Free Boosts every 2 months & Data Rollover that you  don't get with contracts.

@EABowden  1, A cellular watch will not work with PAYG.
2, Limited roaming data 25Gb as opposed to 50Gb.

3, No 5G+ if you want that,

4, no eSIM support.

5, Flat rate fee to call customer support.

6, No unlimited data if you have EE broadbands

I’m sure there’s more
