What's the best UK provider that still offers free roaming in the EU?

@LeavingEE2023   Your asking that question on EEs public forum.  You know you asking someone to recommend a different network on a specific network forum.     Why not go to KFC and ask for Chicken McNuggets.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Free EU roaming for EE customers is being terminated these days - mine ceased yesterday. Consequently, I am now looking to switch supplier and am doing research - I imagine other EE users have done similar research and may know more than me.

Roaming charges are being introduced for PAYG from 06/06/23 as either £2.50 / day or £10 / week to be taken only from your PAYG credit, not your recurring card payment.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

So if I have a monthly Subscription Pack, namely a  £10 Talk & Text Pack, and I spend a month in the EU, will that cost me £10 only (i.e. for the Text & Talk Pack) or £50 (i.e. £10 for the Talk & Text Pack + 4 x £10 for weekly  access to my Pack allowances)?

I too will be leaving ee...imagine they will be loosing a fair few customers...search martins money saving tips under roaming for ither providers

Thanks, I will. My preliminary research suggests Asda mobile might be the best for me - other networks that purport to offer no charges have a Fair Use Policy that means you have to spend the majority of every 4-month period in the UK, which I may not always be able to do.

Yes, £50+!

As I feared. I can't afford that and need to keep in touch with elderly relatives while I'm in the EU, so I'll be leaving EE.
