Dear sir,
I would like to request technique support regarding my top up problem. I have bought a pay as you go plan (£15) with my account, however i didn’t see this purchase to be added on my EE account.
Based on this confusion, I additionally topped up 10 quid to the current sim card, but I only saw a 10 quid credit without any details about the internet usage and allowances.
I wonder where can I check my purchase and would like to confirm if they are processed successfully. As I prefer the pay as you go discount plan, I would like to request your guidance to see if any action can be taken to process this, to ensure that I have internet connection when I land in UK next week. (I wonder if this problem happen because I am abroad currently).
I appreciate it if you can provide support as soon as possible, thank you.

@DannyTW unless you purchase a pack or a data add-on, you will not have data usage on your device. A pack will give you an allowance of calls/texts and a data allowance. Is this a new SIM card ? Or is this a sim you’ve used before?

Hi Chris,
Yes, this is a new SIM card.
But i would like to double check whether the SIM card will be activated when i arrive UK and connect to the internet there ?

Hi @DannyTW
Thanks for coming here 🙂
When are you returning to the UK?
Can you text BALANCE to 150 and let me know the full reply?
Leanne.

Thanks for coming back to me @DannyTW
You can send the word BALANCE to the number 150 and the reply will show allowance and credit details for you.
If this does not send from the EE SIM, when you arrive in the UK you can call us on 150 from the SIM and the team will check the account for you.
Thanks 🙂
Leanne.

It seems you are not in the UK. Where did you buy that PAYG SIM?
Had you used that PAYG SIM for making calls or texts in UK before going abroad? To be used abroad EE PAYG SIMs need 1st activating on EE's home UK network. If it wasn't you can't now use it until you return to UK.
Consequently any texting of BALANCE to 150 as suggested will be ineffective.
