Switching from pay monthly to payg

Hello, I'd recently contacted EE customer service through live chat to switch from pay monthly to payg. Then I'd waited the 30days and paid the final bill. However, instead of having a payg set up, I have now lost access to my number, the app says that my account is closed, and I can no longer obtain a PAC code.

I really need my old number back as it is still in use... Any ideas as to what I can do about this?

Thank you it is solved now, the number worked again today and I was able to receive the text to add it to the account.
