Stopped Receiving SMS in Cambodia

MacW
Visitor

For years my pay as you go EE SIM has had no problem receiving SMS in Cambodia. Today, this is no longer so and I cannot receive any SMS at all. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Thanks.

Mac.

@MacW : Have you used your PAYG SIM for anything other than receiving texts while there?

When did you previously make a chargeable action? EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 178 days (~6 months) of non-chargeable use. You then have a further 90 days (~3 months) period of grace to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.

You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack. Receiving texts is notchargeable action.
