Sim activation

How can I activate my sim? I already purchased a monthly pack, but I can make any calls nor send text, and I also can’t receive any. And don’t know how to contact customer service. 
I tried activating the sim myself, through App EE but it didn’t work. Can someone help me out?

@Evelyn08 : PAYG SIMs are already activated as long as you are in the UK.

What does texting AL to 150 from it report exactly?
