RE:final bill

Hi ,

I've not long transfered my number from EE to giffgaff and I've received a text from a number (07955 306208) mentioning that ive got a final bill. Went on the website and logged in to see the final bill, clicked on the final bill and keeps popping up skip to see main contents. So what's my final bill if I can't see it?

Hi @Bethanylou2

We don't text billing updates from a mobile number as the sender.
The message you have received may be spam, that by coincidence arrive after leaving.

Can you post a screenshot of the message here, or copy and paste the full message including the link it shows?

Hi
Here's the proof of the phone number and the message

Thanks for the screenshots @Bethanylou2

The text message you received about failed payment is not from EE. It's a common phishing message, that you have received after leaving us by coincidence.
For help with identifying scam messages we have great resource at Avoid and Prevent Scams | EE

Please forward the text message to 7726 (it spells SPAM), so we can investigate.
Once you have received a confirmation reply you can delete the message.

If you have already clicked the fake link on the website and tried to log in I'd strongly recommend you log into your EE account and change your password.

@Bethanylou2 : PAYG a/c's don't have bills, let alone final bills.

It's obviously a scam! The link in it is not even to EE (domain ee.co.uk).
