Prices of 7 day data add-ons for PAYG customers in Brazil

I am travelling to Brazil - Rio De Janeiro - on Monday 12th September. Can anybody please confirm the prices of 7 day data add-ons? I would like to know in advance so that I can topup my credit in the UK in order to purchase a data add-on in Brazil. Thanks in advance.

There are no 7 day data add-ons available in Brazil like you get in the UK.

As it is not in EU, you may only use your usual UK allowances there if you buy or have already as a Smart Benefit the Roam Abroad Pass for £11.40 / month or you have an EE Max Plan. Otherwise you will need to pay the charges or buy roaming add-ons as set out in the PAYG option of https://ee.co.uk/help/help-new/roaming-costs/countries/brazil .

As you see from that, you need to buy a data add-on as offered to you when you land.

Interesting. When I was in Rio in December 2021, I was able to buy a 7 day data add-on - about 140MB - for about £25. I have no intention of making any phone calls nor sending any text messages. That help page link does not help at all. It just says, as regards data, "buy an add-on when you land". So I am still completely in the dark. 🙄
