Hi everyone,

I know that my previous pack started on the 22 of August and it was due to end on the on the 21st of September.

However I started a new pack today 02/09/22 and due to end on 03/10/22.

I do know packs last 30 days, so what I would like help with working out please is if I start a pack on the 4th of each month, am I right in thinking that the active pack ends on the 3rd of of the following month and my new pack will start on the 4th of each month?

Any help and advice regarding this is truly appreciate and thank you so much in advance for your help and advice.

Kind Regards

Don't forget that not all months are 30 days long.

Packs last 30 days, however long the month in which they started. So the start day + 30 days is the day that the pack expires.

  • pack starting on 22 August would be exhausted by 21 September.
  • pack starting on 2 Sept. would be exhausted by 2 Oct.

Texting AL to 150 should tell you when your pack expires.

Hi @XRaySpeX

Thank you for your reply, I really appreciate it.

So just to confirm (if you don't mind sorry) if I start a pack on the 4th of any given month will it end on the 3rd of the next month, or will it end on the 4th and start on the 5th?

Thanks again and look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards

Sorry, you are not following me. It all depends on the length of the month it starts.

Start a pack on 4th of month & it will expire on:

  • 4th of next month in Sept., Apr., Jun., & Nov.
  • 3rd of next month in all the rest but Feb.
  • 6th of next month in Feb. of a non-leap year.
  • 5th of next month in Feb. of a leap year.

Remember the rhyme "30 days hath Sept. ...."!
