I have recently switched from a dumb phone to an iphone, using the same EE SIM card. It’s purely PAYG - I don’t have any kind of plan, but I have plenty of credit. I will very occasionally want to use mobile data to access the internet. The EE website suggests that I can add, say, 1gb of data by texting 1GB DAY to 150 - but this doesn’t work.
Is there any way I get data to access the internet on my iphone without having an EE plan and only using PAYG?
Thanks.

Morning @Felspar
Thanks for coming to the community.
If you text ADD DATA to 150, do you get a reply showing all available data add-ons you can purchase?
If so, please try and add the data add-on you would like, does this work?

Yes, if I text ADD DATA I get several options for what I can buy. But when I text 1GB DAY I always get the same message:
Sorry there has been a problem and we cannot add this add on, please try again later

I see, thanks for coming back to me @Felspar
Can you text BALANCE to 150 and let me know the full reply? Can you make calls and send texts?
Thanks.
Leanne.
