New to EE

Was previously on a contract with EE, decided to switch to different network, but now decided to rejoin EE but on pay as you go.

I have a couple of questions:

1 - if I go to the pay as you go section under My EE on the website, it just shows the status of my last account with EE, will this change when EE officially changes me from my old network  to EE? Similar things happen on the app too

2 - how do you set up direct card payments? and do I have to wait until I'm fully switched over before I can set this up and use it to by a pack?

3 - I got a sim card from a local store that says my 5gb data for £10 will be extended to 20gb for 6 months, does this kick in automatically or do I need to do some sort of registration with it because I can't find out the info on the sim card pack or the website?

  1. You need to call CS to delete your old contract MyEE a/c & then you can set up your new PAYG MyEE a/c afresh, using the same mobile no. & email addy if desired. You can't mix them under MyEE.
  2. When your PAYG MyEE has been set up you will find a "Set Up Direct Payments" button on its landing page.
  3. You should not have to do anything. Each month when the normal 5GB has been exhausted the extra 15GB will kick in.
