Need to disable hibernation while abroad

Hi there,

My account is in hibernation because I haven't used it for a long time while abroad. I try calling the customer service line but the waiting time is over 1 hour. I'm calling from the EU and it'll be very expensive for me to wait. Can you please advise how else I can get in touch with the Technical department so I can reactivate my phone ASAP?

Thank you,

George

@Profile closed : You can only come out of hibernation by calling CS. There is no other way. Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. on Skype over WiFi. It should be free.

If it's been in hibernation for more than 3 months, it is too late to get it back.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU => 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC => 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC => 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC => 2022: EE 80 Meg FTTC (no landline number)
