I rencently called ee and moved from monthly payment plan to pay as you go acc, because I went aboard to china for a couple of month and this will save some money. however after the day the acc switch, I found on ee app said my acc has been closed and I am not able to make call or send text, neither recive call or text.
I really do not know what to do, I do not want to lose my mobile phone number I have use it for more than 10 years.
Can anybody help me with this please?

When was your SIM moved to PAYG? It takes 30 days notice to cancel a contract & before it is moved to PAYG. Had that change taken place while abroad you can't now use it at all while abroad. To be used abroad EE PAYG SIMs need 1st activating on EE's home UK network. If it wasn't you can't now use it until you return to UK.
