If you don't want to use a PAYG phone anymore, simply stop using it.

You may want to cancel any recurring packs or add-ons that you have.

Text STOP REC to 150 to stop any direct card payment. For good measure also text STOP PACK to 150 to prevent the pack renewing. Then bin it.
