EE demanding money to keep sim

I just bought £5 top up because apparently my sin card was deactivated or something. I topped up tried to call someone.same issue. My calls isn’t going through or anything people cant call me. Get this fixed because i need my number

If your SIM has been placed into hibernation like @XRaySpeX has mentioned here, the act of topping this up alone will not reactivate the line. 

You'll need to get in touch with our team so they can check this over manually, but provided you're still in the window to restore the SIM, any credit will be reapplied too.

@Christina45 : How are EE demanding money to keep SIM? You top-up PAYG as & when you wish, not on demand.

Sounds like your PAYG SIM may have gone into hibernation due to non-use. If it has, topping-up now would be too late.

When did you previously make a chargeable action? EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-chargeable use. You then have a further 3 months period of grace to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.

You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.
