Hi, my son said he went in store and got a contract sim card. The money for this comes out of his bank but he lost his phone back in September.

He hasnt let anyone know. Can he cancel this, sim card and the contract or will he have to pay for it for the next 18 months. Any idea please

@Michno8  The best option is to get a replacement sim so he can continue using the tariff allowances.   If he wishes to terminate he’ll be required to pay off the remaining term of the contract and he will get a 4% discount on the remaining term.

Roughly its monthly cost X number of remaining months - 4%.   = what needs to be paid.    You don’t get out of a contract because the sim has been lost as a replacement can be sent out and the contract is up to the minimum term date.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi @Michno8

Welcome to our community.

If your son hasn't let us know about his lost phone, it's important he calls us to let us know as soon as possible so that we can prevent any unauthorised usage. The team will also be able to arrange a replacement SIM to be sent so he can continue to use his contract and number.
