Usually my phone (on PAYG) is turned off as I rarely use it, but yesterday I made the mistake of leaving it on and received a (scam?) call, and got charged £2 in total for listening to an unwanted, unsolicited voicemail. I don't understand how this can happen. (I’m not abroad.) To get rid of the voicemail notification it seemed I had to tap the link to listen to this nonsense message. And I got charged for it. Can I get the credit back?

You don't have a pack and so you are charged for everything.

What does texting AL to 150 from your no. fully report verbatim (it is free)?

"Your current balance as of today 05:10 is £2.60. Your last top up was £5.00 on 07/08/2023 at 01:53."
(My balance was £4.60 prior to the voicemail.)
