Can't recieve calls or texts on new number

I got a new pay as you go sim, but I can't recieve texts or calls. I was able to recieve texts from someone I texted on the new sim but before texting that number it failed to send messages to my number. I can't recieve OTPs either through text or call, the app just says that it couldn't send the text/it couldn't call me. I tried topping up the new sim too but I still can't recieve anything other than texts/calls from the person I already texted and from EE

I'd recommend giving our Customer Service a call where the technical team can check and refresh your connection to make sure it is set up correctly so you can receive calls and texts as expected.

One thing- have you tried turning your phone off for a few minutes and back on again? This sometimes updates any connection issues. Though it does sound like it may be a bit more than that.

  1. What device do you have.
  2. Are you in the UK.
  3. What messenger app are you using.
  4. What pack do you have and are you in credit.

Thanks

Hi @RMA1

Can you check your SIM number- If you text NUMBER to 150, does it tell you the correct mobile number?

I have tried switching my phone off for a while and it still didn't work.

I probably need to call customer service. Thank you for the help.
