Hi.
I wrote a long post here then lost it all. So here's the summary 😔
Bought an EE 4g WiFi box few weeks ago, due to heavy data use needed to top it up with more data. When I tried I got the image below and wouldn't let me add data.
Next step I tried buying an EE 30gb sim from asda, topped it up £20 with voucher and pin number by texting to 150, put it in WiFi box thinking that would work, still nothing.
I thought OK I need to top up the sim that came with my 4g WiFi box so topped that up £20 and still. Nothing.
I've now spent £40, can't use my WiFi box, got another sim with 30gb data I can't use as I have a o2 phone.
Am I write in saying when you top up with voucher and get the pin you text it to 150, are you meant to get a confirmation text?
How can I confirm either of these sums has the data/min/ texts on I paid for?
I'm a bit confused and pee'd off!

Try using Fast Top Up online with a UK bank card. You don't need to login or register anything. All you need is your mobile no.

Thanks for your reply. Well I did try what you suggested and I t
opped uo yet another £20. It shows as £20credit but data still shows as as 0GB. What am I doing wrong?
Then what I did try next was to put my o2 sim in the 4g widi box and the topped up sim card in my phone and it let me connect to WiFi. It showed EE4g at top of my phone so was it using the data on the ee sim or my o2 sim?
Confused as hell with all this now and really annoyed and so far spent £60 plus price of the WiFi box to start with.
