30 Day Pay as you go Sim

Hi  I bought a pay as you go 30 day plan with 500 minutes, unlimited texts and 20GB.  Installed it in my unlocked phone.  Received a text message to confirm the allowances would be applied as soon as I made my first call or text.  Well i cant sent a text or make a call as I get a recoding to say I don't have enough credit.

Does anyone know how long activation takes before I can make a call?

If you text NOW to 150, this should activate your purchased pack.

Where did you buy it from? How much did you pay for it?

Thank you just tried this but got a text message unable to complete request as don't have a plan?

Bought from EE website.  Texted AL says current plan is £0.00 🙁

I paid the £10 its gone out of my bank account.

UPDATE looks like I have been sent the wrong sim.  Thanks for the advice.
