So I have this old Motorola flip, and it's locked to orange UK. so I requested an unlock code on the EE website and it made me enter extra info and stuff. I then received an email saying that they cannot unlock the phone due to the age of the device. Is there any other way I could possibly get it unlocked?

@pugman227227 You could try searching eBay for someone who unlocks phones. There’s a few on there. Even if they don’t advertise that phone you can always just message that seller asking if they can help with that device.

Look at the reviews.

@pugman227227 They work by you sending them the device IMEI number that you get via typing in to the device dial keypad. The code you need to enter is *#06# to get the IMEI that you send them.

Do you think maybe the phone is blacklisted or something? I have asked several sellers now and they've had zero luck getting an unlock code

If you call our mobile guides on 0800 956 6000 from any phone, they can get this looked into for you for any network blocks and also the unlocking request 🙂

They will check the IMEI and let you know if this can be completed for you.
