Why is it impossible to talk to anyone at EE

The current guidance for new orders of that model is to expect dispatch in 'more than 28 days'. The orders are sent out on a first come, first served basis, clearing the oldest orders first.

Although it sounds like the order tracker isn't working for you, DPD will still be in touch with you with more information when it is ready to be delivered.

If you would like to discuss your order, I recommend speaking with our customer care team.

If it's anything like me:

Sorry, you can’t track this order type just yet.

At this time, we can only provide tracking for orders including a pay monthly handset.

If you’ve ordered a pay as you go handset, other device, or an EE SIM only your order should arrive within 48 Hrs. Keep an eye out for SMS or email updates from EE.

Order number: 004109xxxx - tried with mobile number, and with email address, though email address fails automatically, because the web-page has a broken REGEX email address validation checker, which doesn't allow for hyphens in the domain name part of the email address.

Pre-ordered Titanium White 256GB iPhone 16 Pro Max, on pre-order launch day, same email address I've had on my account for the last 20 years, but the website is broken in that it thinks my email address, which is similar to this example, test@the-domain.com is invalid because it contains a hyphen.
