Phone stopped working

I think EE did something to my phone this morning that automatically rebooted it and now I'm stuck on 'Phone is starting'.

Is it something to do with my change from the 3G to 5G network?

Please help!

Used EE phoneline support and, after 1 hour, they couldn't fix it.

So, had to reset the phone and start again.

Thanks for coming here. 

Did your phone receive a network or software update this morning? 

Which model phone are you using?

@stevesuk   What phone is it because you just might need to force shut it off and and restart it.     Even with a network update on your device you get a text from EE requesting you to  turn it off and on again, a network update will not switch off your device and EE have no control of your device to do that.
