EE SIM PIN

I broke my phone and put my SIM in an old phone. I don't remember ever having a PIN for that phone. Does the SIM have a PIN? It's not 1111 I tried that.

Thanks

@ColinBrown1    The sim pin is on the sim not the phone so if you put that sim in any device it’ll require that sim pin to be entered.    You have 3 attempts at entering the sim pin correctly after this you’ll need your PUK code to unlock the sim and you’ll find this within your online EE account.    find the PUK code first then enter any numbers to lock the sim then use the PUK code to unlock the sim.   Alternatively, you’ll have to request a replacement Sim card.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

How do I find the sim pin on an eSIM

Hi @Blitzed

Welcome to the community.

What action is it that you're doing with the device that requires a PIN?

Chris

It's just a general enquiry. I saw on my settings that the sim  card can have a pin and I wondered how you could find out what it was.

The default PIN for physical SIMs is 1111, @Blitzed

The SIM PIN is usually requested when you put your SIM in another phone, or reboot the device. I'm not sure if this is the same for an eSIM, but it may be requested when you're changing some phone settings.
