I get a text from DPD saying when the phone is being delivered.

i stay in.

I'm working in the back garden, the gate opens the gate classes. i then get a text with a picture of my garage, the message reads "sorry we missed you"?  They should try walking up the garden path or use the front door!

Two days later. almost the same thing.

i'm going away for three weeks do DUP deliver to Latvia.... very poor service and yes it is your problem not mine as you use DUP as your preferred delivery agent.

Hi @abweaver

It's not DPD job to go hunting for you. If they tried to deliver and you never answered the door then that is your fault. DPD normally try twice to deliver.

No they will not deliver to you in Latvia.

Thanks

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.
If you read the original message you will understand.
I was in.
I was working in the back garden.
They never knocked on any doors or rang the bell.
If they did they came into the back garden they would have seen me, if they knocked on the front door wife would have opened the door. Yes it is there job to deliver. They provide an hour time slot for people to be in, we were in.
Thanks for you ignorance being a keyboard worrier hiding being a screen must make you feel a little bit more special. Also if this sort of behaviour makes you feel grown up then good for you.
P.S the Latvia comment was sarcasm.

@abweaver , you actually said you were in the back garden, you did not say your wife was indoors, but it might have been worth keeping a lookout for DPD at the same time, they usually text to let you know how far they are away from you and when you are next, that is thirty minutes away, then you are next, so that you can keep a lookout.

@Northerner is not and neither am I a keyboard warrior, but we are community stars, and if you care to read about what that entails, then feel free.

Unfortunately, if they do not try and deliver again, then it will go back to EE, and you will have to wait until it has been logged in back to them and your account changed back before you can re-order.

Hi @abweaver

I am sorry to hear this has happened.

Did DPD advise the delivery would be attempted another day?

Leanne.

Hi @abweaver

Wow.

The reason you receive a time is becase DPD drivers get a limited time to deliver your parcel becase they have other parcels to deliver.  DPD need a signature they would have knocked or rang the bell as it is not in their interest to generate more work with a failed delivery which means that your parcel is added to the next days deliveries. Why should they go searching for you in your garden.

Your attempt to deflect your own failure by insulting me and sarcasm is rude and not needed.

Thanks
